More about Merge PDF

How to merge PDFs into one file

Upload your files, put them in order with the arrows next to each one and click merge. The pages are joined in exactly the order of the list and the finished PDF downloads right away. Every file shows its page count, so you can tell at a glance whether you picked the right version.

Merging runs entirely in your browser through the pdf-lib library, so the documents are never uploaded and never leave your computer. That matters for contracts, invoices or medical records you would rather not hand to someone else's server.

  • Up to 10 files per merge for free, 50 with Premium.
  • Up to 25 MB per file.
  • Text, links and search all survive: nothing is flattened into images.

Frequently asked questions

Does the quality stay the same?

Yes. Pages are copied across untouched, nothing is resampled or recompressed. The result is about as large as the inputs added together.

Can it handle a password-protected PDF?

A document that needs a password to open cannot be merged. Unlock it in your PDF reader first and save a copy without the password.

Can I merge PDFs with images?

Convert the images with the JPG to PDF tool first, then add the resulting file to the merge.

How do I reorder pages inside a single file?

Split the document into single pages, then put them back together in the order you want.
