How to create an invoice
Fill in who is billing, who is being billed, and what for. The invoice builds itself as you type: watch it in the live preview, then download it as a PDF. Pick any of eight currencies, and add a tax line if you charge one, named whatever your country calls it (VAT, Sales tax, GST).
Everything happens in your browser. Your client's name, your prices and your bank details never leave your computer, which is not something most online invoice makers can say.
Frequently asked questions
Is this invoice legally valid?
An invoice is valid when it identifies both parties, is numbered and dated, and states what is billed and for how much, all of which this invoice includes. Specific tax requirements differ by country, which is why the tax line is fully under your control: its name, its rate, or leaving it off entirely.
Do I need to charge tax?
That depends on where you are registered and where your client is. Small businesses under a registration threshold often invoice without tax; registered businesses add their local VAT, sales tax or GST. If you are unsure, ask an accountant, then tick the tax box or leave it empty accordingly.
How should I number invoices?
Any sequence works as long as it is consistent and unique. The tool suggests a year-based sequence like 2026-001 and continues it for you with the next number on your next visit.
Is my data uploaded anywhere?
No. The PDF is generated in your browser and the invoice never touches our servers. With a free account you can save your seller details and repeat customers for one-click reuse.
