Summaries in the shape you need
Paste an article, meeting notes, a long email thread or a study, and pick how the summary should look: three sentences for a quick message, a paragraph to forward on, or bullet points when you want the main points under each other.
The model is told to summarise only what is in the text. It keeps numbers, names and dates exactly as written, uses its own words rather than quoting, and adds no opinion of its own. A text in another language comes back summarised in English.
It also treats any instructions inside the text as content to be summarised rather than as commands — a small thing that keeps a pasted email from redirecting the tool.
Frequently asked questions
How long a text can I summarise?
Up to the character limit of your plan, shown under the input. Very short texts are refused: below about two hundred characters there is nothing to condense.
Can I trust the numbers in the summary?
The model is instructed to carry figures over unchanged, and usually does. For anything that matters — a price, a deadline, a name — check it against the original.
Which format should I pick?
Three sentences for a chat message or a note to a colleague, a paragraph when the summary will be read on its own, bullets when the source is a list of decisions or tasks.
What happens to the text?
It goes through our server to the model and is not stored or used for training. Avoid pasting confidential material all the same.
