Proofreader
Fix spelling, grammar and punctuation, with every change shown.
The text is processed by a language model through our server. We do not store it and do not train on it, but it is better not to paste anything sensitive here. Free gives you 5 uses a day and 3,000 characters per request.

More about Proofreader
Proofreading that shows what changed
Paste a text and a language model corrects the spelling, grammar, punctuation and typography. What makes it usable is the diff: every change is marked, the original in red and the correction in green, so you can see what was touched instead of trusting a rewritten block.
The model is told to correct only. It does not rewrite sentences, change the tone or reorder anything unless it is grammatically wrong, and it leaves names, terminology, numbers and links alone. British and American spelling are both kept as they are.
Switch to the corrected-only view when you want to copy the result straight into a document.
Frequently asked questions
Will it change my style?
It is instructed not to. The point of a proofreader is to fix errors, not to make everyone write the same way — and the diff makes any overreach visible immediately.
Can I trust every correction?
Read the result through. A model occasionally "corrects" a technical term, a proper noun or a deliberate stylistic choice. Because you see every change, keeping the good ones and ignoring the rest is quick.
What happens to my text?
It goes through our server to the model and is not stored or used for training. Even so, avoid pasting anything confidential.
Does it work in other languages?
It keeps the language of the input, so a text in another language comes back corrected in that language.
