More about Photo collage

A collage in a few clicks

Need several photos turned into one image for a post, a noticeboard or a print? Drop them in, choose how many columns you want and the tool lays them out in a tidy grid. Photos are cropped from the centre so every cell is the same size and the collage looks even.

Setting the collage up

The number of columns sets the shape of the grid; the rows follow from how many photos there are. A gap separates the individual shots and the background colour fills the gaps and the border — white suits print, something dark sits well under pale photos. Download the result as a PNG with crisp edges, or as a smaller JPG. All of it runs in your browser, nothing is uploaded to a server.

Frequently asked questions

What order are the photos laid out in?

The order you add them in. You can reorder them by dragging, or add them again in the order you want.

Why was my photo cropped?

So that every cell has the same square shape, the tool takes the largest possible centre crop from each photo. On wide or tall shots that trims the edges. Switch the cell mode to keep the whole image if you would rather not lose anything.

How many photos can I combine?

Up to ten at a time. With larger collages, expect the resulting image to have a high resolution.
